1. Offer and Acceptance agreed between yourself and the seller to start the process.


  2. You will then receive an Introductory Letter and Authority to Act form from Project Settlements. Please sign and return as soon as possible.


  3. You will receive a call from the Conveyancer to discuss all details of this transaction.


  4. Ensure that all the conditions on the O&A required to be fulfilled by the seller are undertaken by the required date.


  5. If there is a mortgage on your property, please contact your bank as soon as possible to sign the Discharge of Mortgage Authority.


  6. Your Conveyancer will liaise with your bank to discharge the mortgage.


  7. A pre-inspection may be undertaken by the buyer. Ensure that all items in the home are in good working order.


  8. You should notify Telstra, Australia Post, Synergy, Alinta Gas and other service companies of your new address.


  9. Final Settlement Statement is prepared detailing monies due to you with all the disbursements made to the relevant authorities.


  10. As settlement is imminent ensure that the property is clean and all rubbish is removed.


  11. Settlement will take place and Project Settlements will ensure the mortgage is paid and the balance of monies paid into your nominated bank account on that day. Please note cheques may take 3-5 days to clear.


  12. You will be notified immediately settlement has occured and we will also inform your real estate agent.
